The first five days

Before we begin to tell you in detail about the stage, we would like to make it clear that you must go for medical advice before starting the stage. Ketosis is a stress condition, and not everyone’s body is ready for a forced stress condition, So please seek medical advice before you even think of starting it.

Some of the symptoms that might occur due to the first stage can be-

Hypoglycemia or low blood sugar level

Hypoglycemia is a condition that happens in the body when the blood sugar level goes down due to various conditions. The main source of sugar in the digestible form is glucose. When the amount of glucose gets lowered in the blood plasma, such a condition happens. Insulin is a hormone secreted in the body that is basically responsible for lowering the plasma blood glucose level.

If you stop consuming carbs in your diet, insulin pushes all the carbs in the human cell that eventually leads to a lowering of blood sugar level.
