SSC CHSL Salary, Allowances, and Benefits

-Allowance for House Rent

HRA would be reduced to 27%, 18%, and 9% of basic pay in X, Y, and Z cities when DA (Dearness Allowance) exceeds 25%; on the other hand, to 30%, 20% & 10% of the basic pay in X cities, Y cities, and Z cities when Dearness Allowance (DA) goes above 50%.

Allowance for Transportation

The transportation allowance is provided to cover the employee’s daily travel demands. Those assigned to cities will receive Rs.3600 in TA, while employees assigned to all other locations will receive Rs.1800 in TA.

Allowance for Dearness

According to the 7th Pay Commission, the Dearness Benefit is a cost of living adjustment allowance that is now 17% of base pay. The united cabinet increased the DA to 17% in October 2019.

LTC (Long-Term Care) (Leave Travel Concession)
